Dr. Kagen is originally from New York. After graduation from Columbia University, he completed his medical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. He then completed his residency at Case-Western
Reserve University, Department of Dermatology in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Kagen received his fellowship as a Clinical Scholar at The Laboratory for Investigative Dermatology at Rockefeller University in New York. Dr. Kagen moved to Naples, Florida in November of 2006 to join Riverchase Dermatology. Dr. Kagen is a member of The American Academy of Dermatology and The International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Dr. Kagen specializes in General Dermatology and Dermatologic surgery.

After graduation from the University of Michigan, Dr. Kontos received his graduate and medical degrees from Wayne State University. He then went on to complete an internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Kontos completed fellowships in Clinical Research and Phototherapy and Epidermolysis Bullosa within the Henry Ford Health System. After completing his residency within the Henry Ford Health System Department of Dermatology, Dr. Kontos continued his studies in Tampa, where he completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology fellowship.
Dr. Kontos is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
Dr. Kontos enjoys participating in sporting activities, salt-water aquarium, traveling, astronomy, guitar, saxophone, home improvements and classical studies. He is a certified scuba diver and is fluent in the Greek language.
